Yoga Day got the international recognition by the efforts of NDA Government in 2017. The whole world celebrates International Yoga Day on 21st June. This day is chosen since it is the longest day in the summer solstice and is believed to have a significant effect on the bodies of the people living in the Northern Hemisphere. World Yoga Day aims to educate people about the various means of overcoming stress naturally without resorting to any artificial medicine.
