Global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth’s surface.
In India, the burning of fossil fuels to make electricity is the largest source of heat-trapping pollution, producing about two billion tons of CO2 every year. The country’s second-largest source of carbon pollution is the transportation sector, which generates about 1.7 billion tons of CO2 emissions a year.
Global Warming is not just an environmental issue but now becoming a more serious health issue. The impact of global warming has Various chronicle health issues like Skin Cancer, Cholera, Zombie Diseases, Zika, Tick-Borne illness are becoming most common. It must be stopped at this point otherwise the entire world would have to pay for it highly.
Best Way to Control Global Warming
There are various tips which must be followed to stop global warming entirely but AFFORESTATION is the best way to control Global warming. Afforestation is the establishment of a forest or stand of trees (forestation) in an area where there was no previous tree cover.
While reforestation is increasing the number of trees of an existing forest, afforestation is the creation of a ‘new’ forest.
India has introduced the practice of planting trees along with agricultural crops in croplands.
Efforts to control Global Warming
His contribution in this field is really Extraordinary. The entire earth is indebted to his highness..!! He together with his team plants millions of saplings every year majorly in the month of August and through the year also to fight with global warming. He has various world records in this field as well some of which are as follows:
MOST TREES PLANTED IN 8 HOURS:-
It is worth mentioning that Dera Sacha Sauda has created a Guinness World Record for planting 6,873,451 trees in 8 hours by 169,920 volunteers on 15th August 2009. The second record was made on 15th August 2011, for planting total 1,945,535 plants.
MOST TREES PLANTED IN ONE HOUR:-
Simultaneously in just one hour by 340,250 volunteers in 408 locations all over the world. This figure increased to 2,039,747 plants on 15-Aug-2012 across the globe in just one hour.
His followers are also guided to take care of these plants as well due to which almost 85% of these plants are still alive and growing properly. In addition to these campaigns, he has also invented an electric scooter which is entirely pollution-free. Saving water techniques developed by him are also playing an important role in protecting the environment.
I hope you must be curious to know his name if you really love nature. You would have heard his name for sure but maybe for some other reasons. He is Dr. Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, a true saint in India.
